Membrane bioreactor is a kind of new device which combined the membrane separation reactor and the bioreactor. It used membrane separation device taking place of traditional secondary sedimentation tank to get high solid and liquid separation efficiency.

 It is the metabolism of microorganisms that removed the organic pollutant in the wastewater in MBR device, and the ultra-filtration membrane strengthened the efficiency of this bio-treatment. This technique could be utilized in the wastewater with good biodegradability.
