Membrane extraction (non-solvent extraction with membrane as interfaces), is a new separation technology which combined the membrane process and extraction process. The molecular of phenolic/aniline compounds could be extracted by nonporous membrane into extract phase(Water in alkalic or acidic condition).

        In the extract phase, these kinds of molecular will decompose to relativity ionic state and then enriched. After the neutralization of the highlight enriched extract phase, the concentration of molecular state of phenol(anline) will exceed its solubility in the water and finally separate from the solution. The organics recovered could be used as material and back to the production system. This device could be used to treat and recover the high concentration phenolic/aniline (and their derivatives) wastewater.
